According to reports from NDTV Profit, Motilal Oswal conducted comprehensive reviews of seven key stocks following the Q1 FY27 earnings season. The brokerage highlighted premiumisation-led growth, healthy loan growth, improving domestic formulations performance and margin resilience across these companies. While Radico Khaitan continues to be a preferred pick with a Buy rating, Motilal Oswal remains selective on names such as Eris Lifesciences and Bajaj Housing Finance due to valuation concerns.
As reported by Motilal Oswal in its latest research report dated July 29, 2026, Radico Khaitan delivered robust performance in Q1 FY27 with revenue growing 12% year-on-year to ₹16.8 billion. The company achieved P&A value growth of 36% while the regular portfolio declined 15%. P&A volumes surged 36% year-on-year to 5.2 million cases, maintaining industry-leading performance despite challenges from policy changes in Karnataka and Maharashtra. The regular portfolio's volumes declined 15% to approximately 4.6 million cases due to a high base and policy impacts, while non-IMFL revenue declined 3% due to lower bulk alcohol sales.
As reported by NDTV Profit, Bajaj Housing Finance demonstrated robust operational momentum with assets under management climbing 24% year-on-year to nearly ₹1.5 trillion and disbursements rising 33%. The company maintained strong asset quality with credit costs staying benign. However, Motilal Oswal noted that margin pressure from the runoff of high-yield legacy loans continues to be a key monitorable factor.
According to the Motilal Oswal report cited by NDTV Profit, the brokerage maintained its Neutral rating and ₹95 target price for Bajaj Housing Finance. The firm believes that much of the medium-term growth opportunity is already reflected in valuations for the housing finance company. Meanwhile, Motilal Oswal has upgraded Radico Khaitan to a Buy rating with a target price of ₹5,000, valuing the company at 60x P/E on March 2028 EPS based on expectations of a 34% EPS CAGR over FY26-28E.
