HFCL shares have experienced significant volatility, falling 18.63% over the last six trading sessions after a sharp rally in 2026. According to reports from Moneycontrol, the stock hit its 5% lower circuit during intraday trade and settled at ₹164.95 per share on the NSE, down 2.46% for the session. The stock opened with a 5% loss and remained at that level for most of the session before value buying emerged at lower levels to help recover some losses by the close.
Virat Jagad, Senior Technical Research Analyst at Bonanza, noted that HFCL has witnessed a sharp rally from recent lows, followed by a healthy pullback after testing the ₹185-190 zone. As reported by Moneycontrol, the stock continues to maintain a bullish structure as it trades well above its long-term moving averages. The 0.618 Fibonacci retracement level near ₹154-155 is acting as immediate support and remains a key level to watch. According to Jagad, as long as the stock holds above this zone on a closing basis, the broader uptrend is likely to remain intact.
Despite the recent decline, HFCL shares have gained 138% so far in 2026, demonstrating significant year-to-date performance. According to Jagad's analysis reported by Moneycontrol, the relative strength index (RSI) has cooled from overbought levels, indicating profit booking rather than a trend reversal. Investors can consider accumulating the stock on dips near support levels, with potential upside towards ₹180-190. However, a decisive break below ₹154 could lead to a further correction towards ₹145.
