As investors prepare to celebrate Holi 2026 on March 4, 2026, 80 stocks from Indian markets have emerged as multibaggers since the previous Holi on March 14, 2025. According to reports from The Economic Times, these stocks have delivered returns up to an extraordinary 1,822% despite Indian equities grappling with tariff concerns, subdued earnings and stretched valuations. The performance demonstrates the resilience of selective stock picking even amid challenging market conditions.
Midwest Gold has emerged as the standout performer, delivering returns up to 1,822% and topping the multibagger list. As reported by The Economic Times, the Karnataka-based company processes granite blocks, including the mining and processing of all other types of minerals. Kalind follows closely with 1,143% returns, while 17 stocks have delivered over 200% returns in the period under review. The remaining head turners include Belding India, GHV Infra Projects, Cupid, Gujarat Natural Resources, SML Mahindra, Valiant Communications, BGR Energy Systems, Concord Control Systems, CIAN Agro Industries & Infrastructure, Indokem, Spice Lounge Food Works, Lumax Auto Technologies, Force Motors, Mahamaya Steel Industries and MTAR Technologies, which have delivered returns between 201% and 650%.
Recent data reveals that Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) have significantly increased their stakes in several multibagger stocks, demonstrating strong institutional confidence in these performers. According to Motilal Oswal, FIIs doubled their stakes in six stocks during the December 2025 quarter, with three of these stocks subsequently rallying over 15% in the past two months. Midwest Gold saw FIIs increase their holding to 12.47% from just 0.37% in September 2025, while Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works and Mangalore Refinery And Petrochemicals also witnessed substantial FII interest. However, performance hasn't been uniform, with eight of these stocks delivering negative returns since January 2026, highlighting the selective nature of institutional investments.
According to The Economic Times, experts caution that geopolitical tensions and uncertain earnings could keep markets volatile, urging investors to remain selective and patient despite the impressive multibagger performance. The analysis suggests that while strong performers span sectors from infrastructure to manufacturing, the current market environment requires careful stock selection and investment approach. The Nifty stands at 24,865.70, down 312.96 points, reflecting the broader market challenges that have been overcome by these selective stock choices, even as institutional players continue to show confidence in specific multibagger opportunities.
