Given the situation in the Middle East, the leaders specifically asserted the importance of free and safe navigation as well as unimpeded flow of commerce in the Strait of Hormuz during the meeting. The Quad momentum on trusted digital infrastructure, undersea cable connectivity and next-generation communications standards represents concrete commercial openings for US and Indian businesses operating across the Indo-Pacific.
