Hazoor Multi Projects Limited (HMPL) has secured a significant construction order worth ₹207.44 crore in Tamil Nadu, according to an exchange filing. The infrastructure-to-energy company announced this development on Friday, marking a substantial addition to its project portfolio. The contract has been awarded by Emerald Haven Life Spaces 3 (EHLS3PL) for RCC Core & Shell works at a residential project located at Pallavaram, Chengalpattu, Chennai.
The ₹207.44 crore project involves RCC Core & Shell works - constructing the reinforced concrete (RCC) structural core (columns, beams, slabs, elevator/stair shafts) and the exterior shell (walls, fade, roof) of a building, making it structurally complete and weather-tight while leaving interiors unfinished. This technical scope represents a specialized construction phase that requires advanced concrete engineering capabilities and experienced project management.
The ₹207.44 crore project is scheduled for completion within 30 months from the date of site handover in Chennai, as detailed in the exchange filing. This timeline provides HMPL with a structured execution framework for the residential construction works, allowing the company to plan its resources and manpower requirements accordingly for the project delivery.
Hazoor Multi Projects Limited operates primarily in the renewable energy sector and building road projects on an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) basis, as reported by the company. The company's diversified portfolio spans both infrastructure development and renewable energy solutions, positioning it as a comprehensive construction and energy solutions provider in the market. Despite the positive project news, the company had reported a 97.82% drop in consolidated net profit to ₹0.30 crore on a 33.53% fall in revenue to ₹119.66 crore in Q1 FY27 compared with Q1 FY26. However, the stock showed positive momentum with a 4.16% jump to ₹19.30 on the BSE on Friday following the project announcement.
