
Ceigall India shares surged as much as 6.5% to ₹345.35 on Wednesday, August 26, following the announcement of a major inter-state transmission project award. According to Business Standard, the company emerged as the lowest bidder (L-1) for a transmission project from REC Power Development and Consultancy (RECPDCL), with annual transmission charges of ₹608.67 crore for a 35-year operational period. The project involves setting up a common transmission system for evacuation of power from Lakadia Phase-II (7.5 GW), Jam Khambhaliya Phase-II (5.5 GW) and Jamnagar Phase-I (1 GW), including a 765/400 kV air-insulated substation and around 300 km of transmission lines across Gujarat and Maharashtra. The execution period is set at 36 months with the operational period spanning 35 years from scheduled commissioning.
Ceigall India shares gained 5% to ₹338 following the announcement of a significant infrastructure contract award. According to latest exchange filings, the company, jointly with Sushee Infra & Mining (SIML), received a letter of acceptance (LoA) from the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) for a road construction project. The contract involves construction of an 82.4-km road on the Lada-Sarli section of NH-913 (Frontier Highway) in Arunachal Pradesh, under the EPC mode. The project entails construction of road from km 85.60 to km 168.00 of Lada-Sarli section of NH-913 (Frontier Highway) to Intermediate Lane on EPC mode in the State of Arunachal Pradesh. The project carries an aggregate bid cost of ₹704.70 crore with a construction period of 48 months and a post-construction maintenance period of five years.

In a separate filing dated August 18, the company's joint venture with Rajinder Infrastructure Private Ltd secured an order worth ₹274.08 crore in Arunachal Pradesh for the construction of the 17.81 km to 55.38 km of the Bile-Migging section of NH-913. The company has also received four letters of award (LOAs) from its joint venture with Sushee Infra Mining Limited, where Ceigall holds a 74% stake, for the construction of intermediate lane roads across the Huri-Taliha and Sarli-Huri sections of NH-913, with an aggregate bid cost of ₹2,149.62 crore.
