
Fintech firm smallcase Technologies has introduced CASE Platforms as its new corporate identity, unifying its diverse portfolio of investment products and platform businesses under one corporate identity. According to reports from The Economic Times, the company stated that this new identity recognizes its growth over the last decade and brings together businesses that collectively serve more than 20 million individual investors. The rebranding will not change the smallcase platform itself, as the brand will continue to operate as a distinct platform and brand under CASE Platforms, with the smallcase name remaining associated with the company's model portfolio business.
The company is changing the name of its mutual fund business, which operates as a joint venture with Zerodha. The fund house will be rebranded as Zerodha CASE Mutual Fund, with CASE Platforms becoming a co-sponsor and increasing its shareholding in the venture. As reported by The Economic Times, the mutual fund business, launched in 2023, follows a direct-only approach and offers investment products aimed at keeping costs and processes simple for investors. The fund now manages more than ₹17,500 crore and has around 12 lakh investors.
According to the company's release reported by The Economic Times, CASE Platforms brings together businesses that have expanded over recent years, including portfolio management with Windmill Capital, market information and tools with Tickertape, secured credit with creditcase, and asset management through its joint venture with Zerodha. The company stated that CASE Platforms brings these businesses together as an ecosystem united by a common purpose: helping individual investors access the right products and tools to build better financial outcomes. Smallcase began by offering individual investors access to professionally managed stock portfolios and has since expanded into additional asset classes and developed technology used by more than 250 wealth management firms and financial institutions.

Kamath stated that since the company started with a simple idea of making investing more accessible, both the investing ecosystem and their ambitions have grown significantly. He noted that while CASE Platforms represents a new identity and name for the broader group, their purpose remains the same - helping every Indian design better financial futures. The company will continue building simple investment products and tools to enable investors to achieve their goals as they grow and expand across different areas of investing and financial services.
