LTM Ltd. has officially launched its strategic partnership with Cognition, the AI lab behind autonomous software engineering agent Devin, on July 27, 2026. The technology services company announced the collaboration to strengthen cybersecurity and reduce vulnerability risks for financial services firms, combining LTM's sector expertise with Cognition's AI-led software engineering capabilities. As reported by LTM, the partnership introduces BlueVerse™ RightLogic, a cybersecurity assessment and risk assurance framework designed to autonomously identify and remediate vulnerabilities as enterprises accelerate AI adoption. The companies will initially focus on financial services, with plans to expand the partnership across more LTM business practices and industries over the next year.
The partnership targets a significant improvement in cybersecurity coverage, aiming to lift Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) backlog coverage from roughly 60% to 80%. According to LTM, this improvement is jointly backed by both firms to ensure mission-critical financial services remain insulated from sophisticated adversarial attacks. The BlueVerse™ RightLogic framework addresses threats affecting capital markets trading infrastructure, card networks and payment processing systems, taking findings from cybersecurity scanners already used by enterprises and prioritising vulnerabilities based on business criticality and regulatory exposure. High-confidence fixes are then routed to Devin for end-to-end remediation, while LTM engineers address more complex cases, with fixes reviewed by professionals before being merged.
As part of the strategic partnership, LTM has onboarded Devin, Cognition's autonomous AI engineer, into its BlueVerse™ RightLogic cybersecurity framework. The platform routes high-confidence fixes to Devin for end-to-end remediation, while LTM engineers address more complex cases. A large pool of LTM engineers has been trained on Devin, with several completing hands-on workshops, allowing customers to engage productive teams immediately bypassing internal ramp-up periods. The service is specifically designed to increase coverage of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) backlogs to around 80% from roughly 60%, addressing the growing cybersecurity challenges in the financial services sector. LTM and Cognition plan to jointly roll out five AI-led offerings covering cybersecurity, application modernisation, software development, DevOps transformation, technology-business integration, and database migration.
LTM's strategic partnership with Cognition comes alongside robust financial performance, with the company reporting Q1 FY27 consolidated revenue growth of 18% YoY to ₹11,608 crore and consolidated net profit rising 17.1% YoY to ₹1,468.6 crore. The company has maintained sustained quarterly order inflows above $1.5 billion and achieved EBIT margin improvements from the current 15.5% as automation reduces delivery costs. This strong financial foundation positions LTM to invest in AI-driven solutions while maintaining operational efficiency in the competitive IT services landscape. Shares of LTM were up by 1.9% in intraday trade on Monday, trading around ₹4,170 apiece on NSE, even though the stock has been rallying since the past month, gaining over 10.5% during the period, though it has been down since the beginning of 2026, losing close to 32%.
The partnership strengthens LTM's competitive positioning in the high-margin banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) vertical, which showed signs of sequential recovery in Q1 FY27. By integrating specialized autonomous agents, LTM can drive higher margins through improved operational leverage and reduce delivery costs, addressing rising sub-contracting expenses. According to Harsh Naidu, Chief Business Officer – Banking & Financial Services at LTM, the integration of BlueVerse™ RightLogic with Devin helps financial institutions tackle security challenges while scaling AI adoption. "The Financial Services sector is under constant pressure to strengthen security while accelerating AI adoption. Through BlueVerse™ RightLogic and Devin, we are helping clients reduce vulnerability backlogs, automate remediation, and improve cyber resilience across financial services, empowering them to innovate faster without compromising security," he said. The collaboration with Cognition represents a transition from speculative AI experimentation to production-grade deployment in highly regulated sectors, with LTM setting a new industry standard for risk assurance in the agentic era.
