Bajaj Broking, the stockbroking arm of Bajaj Finance Ltd, launched an algorithmic trading platform on October 14, 2026. According to reports from The Hindu BusinessLine, the platform combines strategy creation and automated execution on a single web and app-based interface. The initiative aims to expand tools available to users for market participation with greater flexibility and control while maintaining transparency and informed decision-making.
The platform offers users two distinct routes for algorithmic trading. As reported by The Hindu BusinessLine, users can access ready-made, exchange-registered strategies developed by SEBI-registered Research Analysts, or utilize custom strategy-building tools using exchange-registered white-box indicators. Users can review strategy objectives, risk profiles, and margin requirements before subscribing to any strategy.
For users building their own strategies, the platform provides comprehensive tools including configurable indicators, entry and exit conditions, execution parameters and position sizing. According to the reports, traders can set trading direction, operating hours, trading days, along with target, stop-loss and trailing stop-loss mechanisms. The platform allows users to set maximum profit and loss thresholds, cap the number of trades per strategy, and pause or halt algorithmic trading through dedicated stop controls.
The platform includes risk management controls at both strategy and account levels. As reported by The Hindu BusinessLine, users can monitor open positions, pending orders, trade history, execution details and strategy signals through a consolidated dashboard. Anurag Misra, Chief Technology Officer of Bajaj Financial Securities Limited, emphasized that the launch aims to expand market participation tools with greater flexibility and control while maintaining transparency and informed decision-making. The platform brings ready-made strategies and custom strategy-building capabilities alongside risk management and trade monitoring, making rule-based trading more accessible with clear visibility of strategy activity and execution.
According to the reports, Bajaj Broking operates as a full-service stockbroker offering trading and demat accounts, mutual funds, IPOs, bonds, AIFs, PMS, US investing and NPS. The company maintains a presence across 43 locations alongside its digital platforms, providing comprehensive financial services to retail investors.
