
The Regents of the University of California completed a significant stake divestment in 360 ONE WAM, selling 36.33 lakh shares representing a 0.89% stake in the Mumbai-based wealth and asset management company. According to bulk deal data on the BSE, the transaction was executed at an average price of ₹1,030.08 per share, generating ₹374.31 crore in proceeds. The sale reduced the Regents' holding in 360 ONE WAM from 1.87% to 1%, as confirmed by Rediff Money Desk reports.
The buyers in the transaction could not be identified from the exchange data, as reported by PTI. Following the stake sale, 360 ONE WAM shares declined 1.2% to close at ₹1,033 per share on the BSE. The transaction represents a substantial divestment by the University of California governing board from their position in the Mumbai-based wealth management firm, with the Regents of the University of California serving as the governing board of the University of California system.
In a separate transaction on the BSE, Oman India Joint Investment Fund II sold 11.02 lakh shares or a 2.4% stake in Capital Small Finance Bank for ₹31 crore. The shares were traded at an average price of ₹280 per share, valuing the transaction at ₹30.87 crore. At the end of the June quarter, Oman India Joint Investment Fund II held a 2.52% stake in the Jalandhar-based bank, with US-based Fidelity International purchasing the same number of shares at the same price. Oman India Joint Investment Fund II is an affiliate of Mumbai-based private equity investment firm Oman India Joint Investment Fund, which is promoted by Oman Investment Authority and State Bank of India.
Shares of Capital Small Finance Bank settled marginally lower at ₹278.15 per share on the BSE following the bulk deal activity. The transactions were executed through open market transactions on Tuesday, as reported by PTI, highlighting active institutional trading activity in both wealth management and small finance banking sectors. The Oman India Joint Investment Fund II transaction involved a 2.4% stake sale, while Fidelity International acquired the same number of shares at the same price, demonstrating continued institutional interest in the Jalandhar-based bank.
