
Several major companies are set to announce their Q4 FY25 results today, with JSW Steel leading the pack with revenue growth of 11.3% to ₹51,180 crore compared to ₹45,991 crore in the previous year. The steel major's EBITDA surged 32.9% to ₹8,634 crore with margins expanding 280 basis points to 16.9%. Tata Motors PV reported exceptional performance with net profit surging 75.7% year-on-year to ₹2,100 crore and revenue rising nearly 10% to ₹10,013 crore, supported by steady consumer demand. United Spirits showed strong performance with revenue up 3.7% to ₹3,054 crore and net profit jumping 28% to ₹539 crore, while the board approved a final dividend of ₹11 per share signalling confidence in cash flow and operational efficiency.
JSW Steel's exceptional performance was aided by a one-time gain of ₹17,888 crore from the loss of control of BPSL's steel business, resulting in massive net profit of ₹16,370 crore versus ₹2,139 crore previously. The company also approved an amalgamation with BMM Ispat and plans to raise up to ₹7,000 crore via equity and debt. Steel Authority of India reported revenue growth of 13.7% to ₹2,785 crore with EBITDA up 56.1% to ₹255 crore, while Siemens Energy showed strong performance with revenue up 27.4% to ₹2,394 crore and net profit surging 52.2% to ₹375 crore.
Apollo Tyres faced a steep reversal in Q4, reporting a net loss of ₹17.59 crore compared to a profit of ₹29.14 crore in the same period last year, though revenue grew 15% to ₹1,398 crore, indicating top-line resilience despite rising raw material costs. The company recommended a final dividend of ₹2.50 per share. Muthoot Finance reported exceptional performance with total income up 68.1% to ₹8,194 crore and net profit doubling to ₹3,086 crore, though the company saw an increase in stage-3 assets. Kirloskar Oil Engines showed steady growth with revenue up 21% to ₹2,116 crore and net profit rising 21% to ₹159 crore. Endurance Technologies maintained strong momentum with revenue up 37.9% to ₹4,086 crore and net profit up 12.8% to ₹277 crore.
M&M Financial announced plans to raise up to ₹3,000 crore through Non-Convertible Debentures, while Kirloskar Oil Engines unveiled a massive ₹1,400 crore capital expenditure plan for manufacturing capacity expansion. Pricol saw leadership changes with Vanitha Mohan resigning as Chairman and Vikram Mohan being appointed as the new Chairman. Tamilnad Mercantile Bank received significant relief as the tax body rectified an order, reducing the tax demand from ₹204 crore to just ₹3 crore. Multiple companies including Cochin Shipyard, Power Grid Corporation, SJVN, and NCC are also expected to announce their quarterly results today.
