The broader market indices also participated in the rally, with the BSE 150 Midcap and the BSE 250 Smallcap indices climbing by 1% each during the session. As per ET Now, the Nifty 50 index is trading at 23,978.30, reflecting a 1.09% increase, while the Nifty Bank index is trading at 54,928.45, up 1.62%.
Several major stocks emerged as top gainers during the trading session, with Eicher Motors Ltd leading at ₹7,334.00, up 5.05%, followed by Shriram Finance Ltd at ₹966.85, gaining 2.75%. Other notable performers included Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd at ₹3,164.20, up 2.69%, Bajaj Finance Ltd at ₹937.20, gaining 2.25%, and HDFC Bank Ltd at ₹783.85, rising 2.22%. As reported by ET Now, Bajaj Auto Ltd also gained 2.07% to ₹10,767.50, while Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd rose 2.01% to ₹370.65. The strong performance across these blue-chip stocks reflected broad-based investor participation in the market rally.

According to Mint, US-Iran peace deal hopes emerged as a key driver behind the market surge, along with other supporting factors. As per ET Now, the Sensex opened flat at 75,260.39 and traded between a high of 75,810.97 and a low of 75,230.75, while the Nifty 50 opened at 23,940.25 and moved between 23,987.30 and 23,922.85.
