According to reports from Business Standard, the broader market showed weakness with the BSE 150 MidCap Index falling 0.41% and the BSE 250 SmallCap Index shedding 0.33%. Market breadth remained negative with 1,920 shares rising and 1,873 shares falling on the BSE, while 229 shares remained unchanged.
Several initial public offerings showed mixed subscription levels as of 11:15 IST on Thursday (23 July 2025). According to stock exchange data reported by Business Standard, Xtranet Technologies received bids for 27,51,430 shares against 91,93,800 shares on offer, resulting in a 0.30 times subscription. Lohia Corp received bids for 8,32,965 shares against 1,43,52,274 shares on offer, achieving a 0.23 times subscription. INDO-MIM received bids for 1,26,72,390 shares against 5,50,93,201 shares on offer, with a 0.31 times subscription. Additionally, Cube Highways Trust InvIT IPO saw 3% subscription on Day 2, with the latest GMP, price band, and review ratings available for investors considering participation.
The Nifty Auto index added 1.35% to 27,698.15, extending its gains to 2.47% over three consecutive trading sessions. As reported by Business Standard, Hero MotoCorp surged 3.27%, Bajaj Auto gained 2.52%, Samvardhana Motherson International rose 2.46%, Bosch increased 1.97%, and Mahindra & Mahindra advanced 1.85%. Other notable gainers included Uno Minda (up 1.55%), Eicher Motors (up 1.14%), TVS Motor Company (up 1.06%), Bharat Forge (up 0.63%), and Ashok Leyland (up 0.54%). Only Exide Industries declined 0.06% and Maruti Suzuki India fell 0.05%.
Bhageria Industries hit the 5% upper circuit after reporting strong Q1 FY27 results. According to Business Standard, the company's consolidated profit after tax surged 203% year-on-year and 188.7% quarter-on-quarter to ₹34.15 crore. Net sales rose 81.9% YoY and 5.9% QoQ to ₹286.42 crore during the quarter. Conversely, Waaree Renewable Technologies declined 6.37% to ₹954.45 after reporting a 25.58% decline in consolidated net profit to ₹115.90 crore for the quarter ended 30 June 2026, compared with ₹155.74 crore in Q4 FY26.
