Raymond shares jumped 14.5% to a 52-week high of ₹764 on Thursday, September 3, 2026, marking the fifth consecutive trading day of gains. According to reports from Mint, the stock has surged 138.5% from its 52-week low of ₹320.40 hit on March 30, 2026. The average trading volume jumped over 10-fold, with a combined 8.2 million equity shares changing hands on the NSE and BSE during the session. Market experts attribute the strong bullish sentiment to defence re-rating buzz as well as the company's healthy earnings, with some analysts predicting the stock may touch ₹800 to ₹850 in the short term.
Raymond's April to June 2026 quarter (Q1FY27) performance was anchored by the aerospace & defence and precision technology & auto components divisions. As reported by Mint, Q1FY27 total income stood at ₹628 crore, up 13% year-on-year. EBITDA rose 14% YoY to ₹100 crore with margin expanding by 20 basis points YoY to 15.9%. According to Nirmal Bang, both the aerospace and precision engineering businesses reported their highest-ever quarterly revenue, reinforcing the structural growth story across segments. The aerospace & defence business generated ₹123 crore in revenue in Q1FY27, a 40.4% increase over ₹87 crore in Q1FY26, while EBITDA grew by 25.4% year-on-year reaching ₹26 crore during the quarter.
According to reports from Mint, Raymond has two core verticals within the engineering business – precision technology & auto components and aerospace & defence. The company serves a global customer base across more than 60 countries with exports contributing over 50% to the company's total business. The company's aerospace & defence business secured a high-value pipeline for global Tier-1 partners and capitalized on the shift toward domestic production of sophisticated subsystems. More than 75% of aerospace revenue is generated from complex aero-engine components spanning 12 product families, highlighting significant headroom given that India still supplies less than 1% of global aerospace component demand. Raymond currently has a robust 10-year order book of ₹5,960-plus crore and an active RFQ pipeline of ₹1,632 crore.
As reported by Mint, Raymond's management has reiterated its long-term guidance of nearly 25% aerospace revenue growth, steady-state aerospace EBITDA margins of 27-29%, and maintaining nearly 25% ROCE while executing the nearly ₹1,000 crore capacity expansion programme over the next five years. The company is well positioned with a debt-free balance sheet and is executing its roadmap with precision across all key segments. Management expressed confidence in their trajectory, stating they are well positioned to drive high-margin growth and create long-term shareholder value. Technical experts believe the stock may be ready for a big move, with some suggesting a decisive close above ₹785 could propel the stock into uncharted territory toward targets near ₹950 over a 6-to-12-month timeframe.
