
The Oman India Fund has executed a significant block deal by offloading 1.36 million shares of Capital Small Finance Bank at ₹270 per share, resulting in a total transaction value of approximately ₹36.79 crore. According to reports from CNBC TV18, the deal was executed at a discount to the bank's closing price of ₹273.05 on the NSE. The transaction represents a partial stake sale by one of the bank's institutional investors.
The block deal follows Capital Small Finance Bank's robust quarterly results for the period ended March 2026. As reported by CNBC TV18, the bank reported a net profit of ₹40.08 crore for the quarter, representing a 17% year-on-year growth from ₹34 crore in the corresponding period last year. The bank's total income for the quarter stood at ₹299 crore. Net interest income (NII) also demonstrated strong growth, rising 17% to ₹121 crore from ₹103 crore in the previous year.
According to CNBC TV18, shares of Capital Small Finance Bank ended Tuesday's session nearly 2% higher, closing at ₹273 on the NSE. The bank, headquartered in Jalandhar, focuses on retail and MSME lending segments. The firm reported steady March quarter numbers with earnings growth supported by improving asset quality and gradual uptick in margins. The lender also highlighted strong traction in its MSME portfolio, which continues to underpin its growth strategy.
