Monolithisch India shares have delivered remarkable returns, surging 170% in the last one year compared to a 9% fall in the Nifty SME Emerge index. According to reports from Mint, the stock has jumped more than 140% year-to-date against a 2% drop in the sectoral index Nifty SME Emerge. In intraday trade on Monday, the stock soared nearly 10% following strong quarterly results, with shares reaching an intraday high of ₹1,290 per share from the previous day close of ₹1,176 per share. The stock is currently trading at a P/E ratio of 76.5, significantly higher than the industry average of 28.6.
The stock jumped on Monday after the company reported its highest quarterly revenue, EBITDA and profit after tax (PAT) for Q2FY27. As reported by Mint, the company's Q2FY27 revenue rose 88.2% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹53.6 crore compared to ₹28.5 crore in the same quarter last year. EBITDA rose 192.2% to ₹15.8 crore from ₹5.4 crore year-on-year, while EBITDA margin expanded to 29.5% from 19% a year earlier, reflecting a 1,049 basis points improvement. PAT grew 145.1% to ₹11.17 crore, with PAT margin at 20.8% increased by 484 basis points. The company's gross profit grew by 142.6% to ₹35.7 crore with a gross profit margin of 66.7%, with one key driver being higher revenue generation from its high-end SGB (Super Grade Boron) Limited products.
According to Jigar S. Patel, Senior Manager of Equity Technical Research at Anand Rathi Share and Stock Brokers, as reported by Mint, Monolithisch India is currently trading near an important support zone around its 50-day double exponential moving average (DEMA), which could act as a cushion against further downside. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is showing positive signals, indicating improving momentum and the possibility of a recovery. However, the stock needs to overcome the crucial resistance level of ₹1,310 to confirm a stronger bullish move. A sustained breakout above ₹1,310 could attract fresh buying interest and potentially push the stock towards the target of ₹1,400, with a recommended closing-basis stop-loss at ₹1,230.
Vipin Kumar, AVP-Research at Globe Capital Market, pointed out to Mint that Monolith has witnessed a unidirectional upward move since its listing in the secondary market. The stock has been consolidating in a narrow range (₹1,134–₹1,344) for more than a month above its key moving averages. A decisive close above ₹1,344 levels could lead it towards ₹1,500 and higher levels in the near term, while a fall below ₹1,134 could drag it towards ₹980 level in the near term. Until the stock decisively clears ₹1,310, some consolidation cannot be ruled out. The company's market capitalization stands at ₹2,710 crores, with Mukul Agrawal holding a 2.76% stake as of September 2026.
