As reported by The Hindu BusinessLine, KICL is a DC Kothari group company that came under new management headed by Rafiq Ahmed a couple of years ago. The company was relisted on the Bombay Stock Exchange and is now also listed on the NSE. The company operates across multiple segments including fertilisers, footwear and drones. According to latest company data, KICL was originally incorporated in 1970 as Kothari (Madras) Limited and underwent significant restructuring in 1984 when five companies were amalgamated, finally changing its name to Kothari Industrial Corporation Limited.
