According to reports from The Economic Times, the record date is fixed as August 10, with the dividend to be paid within seven days of the annual general meeting on August 26. Central Mine Planning & Design Institute (CMPDI) has set August 10 as the record date for its final dividend of ₹1.06 per share for FY26. As reported by The Economic Times, if approved at the AGM, payment will be made subject to tax deduction at source.
Indus Towers has declared a dividend of ₹14 per share with a face value of ₹10 each for the year ended March 2026, with the record date also set as August 10. According to The Economic Times, Majestic Auto has announced a dividend of ₹25 per share, while Gateway Distriparks declared an interim dividend of ₹1.25 per share. The comprehensive list includes RITES Limited with an interim dividend of ₹1.40 per share and PTC India with an interim dividend of ₹23 per share.
Several companies have scheduled their dividend payments for later in August, including Godfrey Phillips India with a dividend of ₹33 per share on August 11. As many as 40 stocks are set to turn ex-record date for dividends on Friday, making today the last day for interested investors to buy the shares to be eligible for the payments. According to The Economic Times, under Sebi's T+1 settlement cycle, investors need to purchase a company's shares at least one trading day before the record date to ensure the shares are credited to their demat accounts in time. Hindustan Aeronautics has declared 16 dividends since March 2019 with a dividend yield of 1.01%. HPCL and IOCL are among the major stocks turning ex-dividend today, along with RBL Bank paying ₹1 per share dividend.

Given India's T+1 settlement cycle, shares purchased today will not be eligible for dividend payment if the record date is August 14.
