
HDFC Bank announced significant leadership changes with the Board approving the appointment of Rajiv Kumar as Additional Director (Independent Director) for four years, effective June 30. Kumar has also been appointed as Part-time Chairman of the bank, subject to RBI approval. Additionally, the Board approved the appointment of Puneet Sharma (former CFO of Axis Bank) as Chief Financial Officer-Designate effective September 1, 2026, and as CFO from December 1. Sharma has resigned as CFO of the bank effective August 31, while Rajeev Mantri has resigned as CFO effective September 25. Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy secured a significant $560 million order for the West Minya Solar Power Project in Egypt through a 50:50 joint venture with Hassan Allam Construction. The project involves a 1,000 MWac capacity Solar PV plant integrated with a 600 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Minya Governorate, Egypt. The joint venture will handle full engineering, procurement, and construction including photovoltaic generation facilities, battery energy storage infrastructure, grid interconnection works, and transmission facilities. The company also recommended a final dividend of ₹2 per share for FY25-26 with July 23 as the record date. Indo Tech Transformers witnessed substantial institutional activity with IIFL Asset Management acquiring 2 lakh shares (1.88% stake) for ₹59.7 crore from promoter Shirdi Sai Electricals at ₹2,985 per share.
