According to latest block deal data, the transaction was executed on Thursday through open market transactions, with the deal size reaching ₹374.02 crore at the average price of ₹590 per share. The buyers included American Funds Insurance Series Global Small Capitalization Fund, which purchased 1.66 lakh shares (0.04 percent) for ₹9.8 crore, and Smallcap World Fund backed by Capital Group, which acquired 61.73 lakh shares (1.45 percent) for ₹364.2 crore. IIFL Finance shares closed 2.43 percent higher at ₹622.60 on the NSE following the transaction, with the stock rising over 2 percent on Friday. Following the latest transaction, FIH Mauritius Investments' shareholding in IIFL Finance declined to 13.69 percent from the previous 15.18 percent based on the June 2026 shareholding pattern.

The selling parties included Tiger Strategies Fund-I, which offloaded 1.08 lakh shares for ₹2.16 crore, and Sanjay Popatlal Jain, who sold 3.42 lakh shares (1.59 percent stake) for ₹6.84 crore at ₹200 per share.
