
Amber Enterprises India Ltd emerged as the biggest loser in the BSE's 'A' group on 18 May 2026, declining 15.72% to ₹7,139.6 at 14:46 IST. According to reports from Business Standard, the stock witnessed significantly higher trading activity with 92,160 shares traded on the counter compared to the average daily volumes of 14,267 shares recorded in the past one month. KEC International Ltd followed as the second biggest loser, tumbling 10.19% to ₹492.85, with 2.81 lakh shares traded against an average of 1.68 lakh shares in the previous month.
Pricol Ltd crashed 9.93% to ₹552.55, ranking as the third biggest loser in the 'A' group. As reported by Business Standard, the stock saw substantial trading activity with 1.42 lakh shares traded compared to the average daily volumes of 62,005 shares in the past month. Bajaj Electricals Ltd pared 8.98% to ₹358.5, positioning it as the fourth biggest loser, with 22,303 shares traded against an average of 16,266 shares in the previous month. Alembic Pharmaceuticals Ltd slipped 8.25% to ₹720, completing the top five losers in the 'A' group with 18,056 shares traded versus an average of 7,551 shares in the past month.
According to Business Standard reports, all five major losers in the 'A' group showed increased trading volumes compared to their respective monthly averages. Amber Enterprises recorded the highest absolute volume increase, with trading activity nearly 6x higher than its monthly average. KEC International saw the second-highest volume increase at 1.7x above average, while Pricol experienced a 2.3x increase in trading volumes. The other two companies also showed significant volume spikes, indicating heightened investor interest during the trading session.
