However, the stock has declined 2.56% over the last three months. The company's Q1 FY27 performance showed strong momentum with revenue rising 18.6% year-on-year to ₹10,821 crore from ₹9,126 crore, while net profit increased 9.2% to ₹3,620 crore from ₹3,315 crore in the corresponding period last year. For the April-June quarter, cargo volumes stood at 138.1 MMT, compared with 120.6 MMT in the year-ago period, reflecting continued growth in the company's port operations.
The block deal comes days after Adani Ports incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary to develop and operate two dry bulk berths at Paradip Port in Odisha. Named Paradip Mahanadi Terminal Ltd., the new entity was incorporated on October 6 with the parent company holding 100% of the subsidiary's shares. The subsidiary has been established specifically to develop and operate the two dry bulk berths, with authorised and paid-up share capital of ₹5 lakh, divided into 50,000 equity shares of ₹10 each. The project is expected to add 18 MMT of cargo-handling capacity to the company's portfolio, taking its total domestic capacity to 671 MMT. This expansion forms part of Adani Ports' broader ambition to reach cargo throughput of one billion tonnes by 2030.
The company's cargo volumes for the first half of FY27 reached 280 million metric tonnes (MMT), marking a 15% increase year-on-year. According to CNBC TV18, Adani Ports has scheduled its results for the second quarter and first half of FY27 for October 28, 2026. The company retained its full-year FY27 guidance, expecting EBITDA of ₹25,000 crore to ₹26,000 crore and revenue of ₹43,000 crore to ₹45,000 crore for the year. Jefferies has maintained its 'Buy' rating on the stock with a price target of ₹2,160.
