According to Motilal Oswal Financial Services (MOFSL) estimates, ITC is expected to report muted consolidated performance for Q1 FY27. The brokerage projects net sales to rise only 2% YoY to ₹21,900 crore, while EBITDA is projected to decline 12.8% YoY to ₹5,940 crore. MOFSL expects consolidated profit after tax (PAT) to fall 12% YoY to ₹4,620 crore, with EBITDA margin estimated at 27.1%. The biggest drag is anticipated from the cigarette business, where revenue is expected to decline 18% YoY and volumes fall 11% due to higher taxation.
Several major companies delivered robust Q1 FY27 performance, with Redington reporting record revenue of ₹349.66 billion, marking a 34.5% YoY increase from ₹260.02 billion in the corresponding period last year. The technology solutions company's consolidated profit after tax surged 76.5% YoY to ₹4.86 billion, driven by strong performance across India (63% revenue growth) and Middle East & Africa regions. Mahindra & Mahindra posted impressive results with consolidated net profit rising 33.6% YoY to ₹54.55 billion, while Asian Paints reported 40% YoY increase in net profit to ₹15.39 billion, supported by price hikes of around 12% during the period. Akiko Global Services also emerged as a standout performer with standalone net profit surging 307% YoY to ₹6.8 crore, driven by an 184% surge in revenue to ₹59.1 crore.
