
Moneyboxx Finance Limited successfully raised ₹500 crore through non-convertible debentures (NCDs) subscribed by Capri Global Capital, bringing its total NCD fundraise to ₹700 crore in the first four months of FY27. According to reports from The Hindu BusinessLine, the fresh debt capital will be deployed to expand lending to small and micro-entrepreneurs in rural and semi-urban India. The Working Committee of the Board of Directors approved the allotment of 50,000 NCDs on July 21, 2026, with the instruments carrying a coupon rate of 10.75% per annum and maturing on July 21, 2028.
Despite the successful fundraising, Moneyboxx Finance shares declined 3.21% to close at ₹56.33 on the NSE, down from the previous close of ₹58.20. As reported by The Hindu BusinessLine, the stock has fallen nearly 20% over the past month and is down 9.68% year-to-date, significantly underperforming the Nifty 50's 7.49% year-to-date decline. The stock trades well below its 52-week high of ₹91.50 hit in October 2025, though above its 52-week low of ₹44.02, with total market capitalisation standing at approximately ₹391 crore.
According to the company's disclosure, Moneyboxx Finance currently operates over 150 branches across 12 States and offers secured and unsecured business loans ranging from ₹1 lakh to ₹25 lakh. As reported by The Hindu BusinessLine, the company targets segments such as livestock, kirana retail and small manufacturers. The company is backed by 34 lenders, including State Bank of India, HDFC Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank, and has raised over ₹1,500 crore in debt to date.
The NCDs are listed on BSE Limited and are secured by a first-ranking exclusive charge over identified receivables or a pledge on NCDs favoring the Debenture Trustee. Interest payments are scheduled monthly, starting August 21, 2026, with the principal amount to be redeemed in four equal installments of ₹12,50,00,000 each on October 21, 2027, January 21, 2028, April 21, 2028, and July 21, 2028. The stock carries a notably elevated P/E ratio of 370.06 and trades with a price band of 20%, with annualised volatility at 52.16%. The company's shares touched an intraday low of ₹55 during the trading session, reflecting the current market volatility affecting the financial services sector.
