WAIB Summit Monaco, the annual gathering for institutional investors, Web3 founders, and artificial intelligence leaders, returns for its 2026 edition on June 9-10 at One Monte-Carlo, situated in the heart of Casino Square. According to reports from the summit organizers, the two-day summit is expected to draw more than 2,000 attendees from across the global finance and technology sectors, building on the success of its 2025 edition. The event follows the Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix, positioning itself as a high-profile industry gathering in the days following the prestigious racing event.
This year's edition expands its institutional footprint with confirmed participation from BNP Paribas, Natixis, Franklin Templeton, CoinShares, Kraken, KuCoin EU, the European Commission, the European Parliament, and representatives from the governments of Liechtenstein and Monaco. Featured speakers include Peter Kerstens, Adviser at the European Commission's DG FISMA; Julien Clausse, Head of Asset Foundry at BNP Paribas; Georg Harer, Co-CEO of Bybit EU; Sabina Liu, Managing Director of KuCoin EU; Ada Vaughan, Head of DeFi at Stellar Development Foundation; and Rafael Mastroberardino of Franklin Templeton, among others spanning policy, institutional finance, and Web3 infrastructure. The summit continues its mission to bridge institutional finance with decentralized technology and artificial intelligence.
Beyond the main program, WAIB Summit Monaco 2026 will feature a private Family Offices VIP Dinner at the Yacht Club de Monaco bringing together 80 selected participants from family offices, private wealth institutions, and government bodies. The summit will host the WAIB Summit Monte Carlo Awards, VC and startup pitching sessions with investors including Draper University and CV VC Labs, and the AI Film Festival Monaco — a showcase of AI-driven filmmaking co-presented with a 24-hour hackathon powered by Alibaba Cloud. The event closes with The Moon Party, a beachfront celebration along the Riviera.
The 2025 edition drew 150-plus speakers, 50 top KOLs with a combined reach of more than 6 million followers, and generated more than 1.3 million impressions, with representation from Microsoft, Coinbase, OKX, B2C2, and AS Monaco. As reported by the summit organizers, this scheduling choice has become central to WAIB Summit's identity as a venue for high-stakes networking alongside elite international audiences, taking place in the days following the Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix.
