Decentralized oracle network Pyth Network [PYTH] has experienced significant volatility with a 72% surge over the past 30 days, ranking second in DeFi monthly price performance behind AERO (↗77%), according to latest market data. However, the token has since pulled back 9% over the last several hours, reflecting the typical volatility in the cryptocurrency market. The altcoin has been trending higher since August, supported by a market-wide resurgence alongside a Bitcoin [BTC] recovery. Recent trading data shows daily volume up ↗37%, bucking a broader market decline of ↘21%, with unique trader count up ↗33% in the past 24 hours, indicating growing market participation.
According to the September perp report from AMBCrypto, Pyth Network dominates the RWA perpetual futures market tracking, pricing 90.29% of the September volume, down from 96.27% in August. The September report revealed market trends that revolved around holding more and trading less. The network introduced the 100% rule on October 8th, with Pyth DAO committing 100% of funds received from Pyth products to accumulating PYTH in its reserve, as reported by AMBCrypto. Current trading data shows Pyth Network had 437 buyers, 256 sellers and total 623 trades in the last 24 hours, with the token being searched 1,161 times during this period.
On the 1-week chart, heavy trading volume in mid-August boosted the CMF and A/D indicators, though these volume indicators fell back toward neutral territory due to the way they use session closes and candlesticks for calculation, according to AMBCrypto. The weekly timeframe swing structure remains bearish, and PYTH crypto prices have only recently surpassed the 23.6% Fibonacci retracement levels at $0.081. Immediately overhead, the former demand zone at $0.10 from June 2025 on the weekly chart now represents a stern supply zone, as reported by AMBCrypto. The token currently trades at ₹8.41, representing a 2% increase from 24 hours ago and 3% up from ₹8.32 recorded one week ago.
On the 4-hour chart, the $0.082-$0.86 Fibonacci golden pocket represents a potential correction end point where the uptrend can continue, according to AMBCrypto. The Moving Averages and H4 price structure capture a bullish bias and support the buy idea for swing traders. Despite the bullish indicators, steady demand and a wider market recovery might be needed to propel PYTH prices higher. The token's all-time high of ₹113.47 was reached on March 16, 2024, representing a -93% change from current levels, while the current circulating supply of 7,874,959,030 PYTH represents 79% of its max supply.
