Vikran Engineering has announced the cancellation of a significant order worth ₹354.21 crore from Ellume Energy MH Solar One Private Limited. According to the latest regulatory filing submitted to the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE), the cancellation was attributed to prolonged delays in achieving necessary project readiness milestones at the client's end. The order was originally a turnkey Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) Contract for a 100 MW AC Solar Power Project located in Maharashtra, which was initially accepted on 24th October 2025.
The client was unable to provide the required Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), work commencement approvals, design clearances, scope finalization, and mobilization permissions within the expected timelines. As reported in the regulatory filing, these delays created an uncertain project commencement timeline, making the execution of the work order commercially unviable for Vikran Engineering. The cancellation stems from the client's inability to provide essential documents and approvals within the agreed timeline.
The cancelled order represents a substantial financial loss for Vikran Engineering, valued at ₹354.21 crore. According to the company's announcement, the prolonged delays in achieving project readiness milestones ultimately led to the decision to cancel the contract. Despite the cancellation, Vikran Engineering has stated that this decision, made by mutual understanding, is not expected to have any material adverse impact on its overall business operations or financial performance. The company remains focused on pursuing opportunities that are strategically aligned, execution-ready, and accretive to long-term shareholder value.
