
According to reports from Business Standard, Veedol Corporation reported a 3.75% decline in consolidated net profit to ₹57.46 crore for the quarter ended March 2026, compared to ₹59.70 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Despite the profit decline, the company demonstrated strong revenue growth with sales rising 14.04% to ₹606.98 crore in Q4 FY26, up from ₹532.24 crore in Q4 FY25. The company's operating profit margin (OPM) for the quarter stood at 10.30% compared to 12.77% in the previous year. As per the latest financial results, Q4 EBITDA margin contracted to 10.43% from 12.74% year-on-year, reflecting margin pressure despite revenue growth.
As reported by Business Standard, for the full financial year ended March 2026, Veedol Corporation achieved net profit growth of 13.55% to ₹191.62 crore compared to ₹168.75 crore in the previous year. The company's annual sales revenue increased by 9.96% to ₹2,168.54 crore in FY26 from ₹1,972.14 crore in FY25. The profit before depreciation and tax (PBDT) for the full year rose 15% to ₹272.58 crore from ₹236.69 crore in the previous year, while profit before tax (PBT) increased 15% to ₹238.43 crore from ₹208.17 crore. On a standalone basis, the net profit for the year stood at ₹135.16 crore, up from ₹124.88 crore in the corresponding period last year, with earnings per share (basic) improving to ₹112.75 from ₹99.29.
According to the financial data reported by Business Standard, the company's profit before depreciation and tax (PBDT) for Q4 FY26 declined 4% to ₹73.45 crore from ₹76.88 crore in Q4 FY25. The profit before tax (PBT) for the quarter also decreased 7% to ₹63.90 crore compared to ₹68.69 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Despite the quarterly profit decline, the company maintained positive growth momentum in both revenue and annual profitability metrics, indicating operational resilience despite margin pressures. The Q4 EBITDA margin contraction to 10.43% from 12.74% year-on-year reflects cost pressures and input price trends that continue to weigh on profitability in the near term.
In a significant leadership transition, Veedol Corporation announced that Mr. Arijit Basu resigned as Managing Director effective May 31, 2026. Consequently, the board appointed Mr. Rajendra Nath Ghosal as an Additional Director and Managing Director for the period from June 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027, subject to shareholder approval. Mr. Ghosal previously served as the Managing Director of the company from November 2011 to March 2023. The board recommended a final dividend of ₹22 per share for the financial year 2025-26, with the record date fixed as July 17, 2026 and the 103rd Annual General Meeting scheduled for August 24, 2026 through video conferencing mode. The total payout will entail ₹38.33 crore subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming AGM.
