According to reports from Moneycontrol, the company purchased 3.54 lakh shares for ₹40.71 crore at ₹1,149 per share. As of March 2026, TSF Investments held a 21.9% stake in the automotive spare parts and accessories distributor, making it the biggest public shareholder in the company.
Simultaneously, multiple funds under the Pari Washington umbrella executed significant selling transactions. As reported by Moneycontrol, Pari Washington Investment Fund sold 1.16 lakh shares for ₹13.34 crore at ₹1,150 per share, while Pari Washington Company AC Pari Washington India Master Fund offloaded 1.9 lakh shares for ₹21.85 crore at ₹1,150.02 per share. Combined, these sales represented a 2.45% stake reduction in the company.
The stock market responded positively to the transaction activity, with India Motor Parts & Accessories shares soaring 9.4% to ₹1,135 amid high trading volumes on the BSE. According to Moneycontrol, the stock price movement suggests investor confidence in the strategic stake acquisition by TSF Investments, despite the simultaneous selling by Pari Washington funds. Recent market data shows 63 stocks experienced short-covering activity, indicating a decrease in open interest alongside price increases, while 56 stocks saw long unwinding with declining open interest and falling prices.
