
Texmaco Rail & Engineering has secured a ₹24.48 crore order from Transport Corporation of India for manufacturing, supply and commissioning of one rake comprising ACT-1 and BVCM wagons. According to reports from Business Standard, the order is scheduled for execution within 16 weeks from the date of Letter of Intent (LOI).
The company reported strong financial results for Q1 FY27, with consolidated net profit increasing 70.57% year-on-year to ₹50.03 crore compared to ₹29.33 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. However, revenue from operations declined 16.90% YoY to ₹756.68 crore in the quarter ended 30 June 2026. As reported by Business Standard, Texmaco Rail & Engineering is part of the Adventz Group and operates across railway and infrastructure businesses through Freight Cars, Rail Infrastructure & Green Energy, and Infrastructure-Electrical segments.
Following the order announcement, shares of Texmaco Rail & Engineering rose 3.95% to close at ₹113.20 on the BSE, according to Business Standard. The positive market reaction reflects investor confidence in the company's order book expansion and operational capabilities in the railway infrastructure sector.
