Technology firm Take Solutions has officially announced the launch of its Innovation Fund with an initial corpus commitment of ₹50 million (₹5 crore) through a regulatory filing under SEBI Regulation 30 on Monday. The company filed this announcement with both BSE and NSE exchanges, marking its formal entry into the startup investment space. Following the announcement, Take Solutions shares gained 1.99% to ₹42.03 as of 11:14 IST on April 6, 2026, compared with the previous close of ₹41.21, according to exchange data. The stock climbed gradually through the session and held its gains, reflecting measured market optimism about the strategic initiative. The fund represents a significant strategic pivot towards enabling next-generation, technology-led business models while positioning the company to capitalize on India's projected $400-500 billion health and wellness market opportunity.
The Innovation Fund is specifically designed to identify, invest and scale high-potential startups operating at the convergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI), deep technology, and the rapidly expanding health and wellness sector. The fund will deploy capital across four key segments designed to address critical gaps in healthcare access, affordability, and efficiency: AI & Data Intelligence supporting AI-driven diagnostics, predictive analytics platforms, and scalable SaaS solutions; Longevity & Bio-Convergence investing in genomics, cellular health, and age-reversal technologies; Digital Health Platforms backing remote monitoring, wearable technologies, and real-time health data ecosystems; and Technology Infrastructure enabling platforms that enhance efficiency, compliance, and scalability across knowledge-led industries. According to the regulatory filing, the fund will focus on early- and growth-stage companies that are leveraging data, AI, and scientific innovation to transform healthcare delivery, diagnostics, and human health outcomes. As per Corpwhizz, the fund's objective is to build a high-impact ecosystem that delivers sustainable financial returns while also improving human health outcomes.
The fund represents Take Solutions' strategic move to capitalize on the growing intersection of technology and healthcare innovation, particularly given that chronic diseases account for nearly 60% of deaths globally. According to the regulatory filing, the company aims to support startups that are transforming healthcare delivery through advanced technologies, positioning itself in the rapidly evolving healthtech ecosystem. Parmeshvar Dhangare, Director, TAKE Solutions Ltd, emphasized that "The future of value creation lies at the intersection of science and scalable technology. Through the Innovation Fund, we aim to partner with visionary entrepreneurs who are solving complex global challenges. Our objective is to build a high-impact ecosystem that delivers sustainable financial returns while also improving human health outcomes." The company's investment thesis is anchored in the belief that the convergence of biology and technology will drive the next wave of global value creation, with the fund providing strategic support beyond financial backing, including access to Take Solutions' expertise in life sciences and supply chain management, clinical and regulatory networks, technology infrastructure, and go-to-market channels to help portfolio companies scale faster.
Complementing the innovation fund launch, Take Solutions has launched Take.Health, an AI-driven digital health platform that converts lifestyle and medical data into personalized insights. The platform targets India's rapidly growing digital population and addresses opportunities across consumer wellness and enterprise health segments, enabling scalable, recurring revenue streams aligned with the Government of India's vision of leveraging AI for inclusive growth. With India's healthcare sector projected at $370 billion and preventive healthcare at $197 billion, Take.Health aims to democratise access to advanced, technology-driven healthcare solutions for improved outcomes nationwide. This digital health initiative, combined with the innovation fund, positions Take Solutions to compete effectively in the competitive healthcare technology landscape while creating multiple revenue streams through technology-driven solutions.
The initiative comes as India's health and wellness market is projected to grow to $400–500 billion over the next decade, driven by rising healthcare awareness, digital adoption and increasing life expectancy. According to the regulatory filing, Take Solutions aims to support scalable, technology-driven solutions addressing healthcare access, affordability and efficiency. The company's stock has delivered multibagger returns with a 425% rally in the last 1 year, soaring over 200% in the last 6 months and advancing 22% in the past month, positioning it just 16% away from its 52-week high of ₹49.90. The fund's strategic focus on AI, deep technology, and digital health positions Take Solutions to benefit from India's digital transformation and the growing demand for technology-enabled healthcare solutions. By aligning capital allocation with emerging global trends in AI and healthcare, the company aims to create long-term shareholder value while participating in the evolution of the future economy.
