According to the latest financial data, the Tea Machinery segment contributed ₹2,739.72 lakh to total revenue, down from ₹2,966.32 lakh in Q1FY26, though it remained profitable with a result of ₹259.89 lakh compared to ₹405.98 lakh in the prior year quarter. The Tea Manufacturing segment continued to operate at a loss, reporting a segment result of (₹17.91 lakh) compared to a loss of (₹22.60 lakh) in Q1FY26, with revenue falling sharply to ₹288.53 lakh from ₹485.62 lakh year-ago. Total expenses were contained at ₹2,815.51 lakh, down from ₹3,080.89 lakh in Q1FY26, reflecting lower material costs and inventory adjustments.
The company's operating profit margin (OPM) compressed to 8.12% in Q1 FY2026, compared to 11.70% in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. PBDT (Profit Before Depreciation and Tax) fell 34% to ₹2.75 crore from ₹4.16 crore year-on-year, while PBT (Profit Before Tax) declined 37% to ₹2.42 crore from ₹3.84 crore in the same period last year.
