
According to reports from Business Standard, Synergy Green Industries reported a significant decline in profitability for the quarter ended March 2026. The company's consolidated net profit fell 89.32% to ₹0.41 crore compared to ₹3.84 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Despite the profit decline, the company demonstrated strong revenue growth during the same period. As per latest reports, total income during the quarter rose 26.1% to ₹123.45 crore compared to ₹97.91 crore in Q4 FY25, while revenue from operations increased 22.1% to ₹119.04 crore from ₹97.47 crore in the same quarter of the previous year.
As reported by Business Standard, Synergy Green Industries achieved sales growth of 22.13% to ₹119.04 crore in Q4 FY26, up from ₹97.47 crore in the same quarter of the previous year. The company's operating profit margin (OPM) declined to 8.76% from 15.26% in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, indicating pressure on operational efficiency during the quarter. According to latest financial data, total expenses increased significantly to ₹123.13 crore during the quarter compared to ₹90.24 crore a year ago, contributing to the earnings decline.
The sharp decline in profitability was primarily attributed to increased operational costs during Q4 FY26. Finance costs rose 48.9% to ₹6.69 crore from ₹4.49 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, while depreciation and amortisation expenses surged 148.6% to ₹7.83 crore from ₹3.15 crore. Profit before tax also declined significantly to ₹0.31 crore against ₹7.67 crore in Q4 FY25, representing a 96% decrease. This cost inflation significantly impacted the company's bottom-line performance despite strong revenue growth.
According to Business Standard reports, for the full financial year ended March 2026, Synergy Green Industries net profit declined 72.41% to ₹4.66 crore compared to ₹16.89 crore in the previous year. The company's annual sales increased marginally by 1.15% to ₹366.42 crore from ₹362.27 crore in the previous year. The profit before tax (PBT) fell 67% to ₹8.20 crore for the full year, while PBDT declined 25% to ₹28.53 crore compared to the previous year. For the full year, the company's operational efficiency remained under pressure with increased cost structures impacting overall profitability.
