Star Paper Mills reported a 14.05% decline in standalone net profit for the quarter ended June 2026, falling to ₹11.01 crore compared to ₹12.81 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. According to reports from Business Standard, this represents a significant drop in profitability despite modest revenue growth during the quarter.
The company's sales showed resilience with a 2.27% increase to ₹103.46 crore in Q1 FY27, up from ₹101.16 crore in the same period last year. As reported by Business Standard, this modest revenue growth indicates the company maintained its market presence despite challenging market conditions during the quarter.
The company's operating profit margin (OPM) improved to 2.71% in Q1 FY27 from 16.20% in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. However, PBDT (Profit Before Depreciation and Tax) declined by 8% to ₹16.52 crore from ₹17.91 crore year-on-year. PBT (Profit Before Tax) also decreased by 9% to ₹14.78 crore compared to ₹16.32 crore in Q1 FY26.
