The company achieved a significant milestone by delivering 358 electric vehicles during Q1 FY27, representing a 122% year-on-year increase in vehicle deliveries. According to the latest results, Olectra's cumulative electric vehicle deliveries have crossed 4,000 units as of June 30, 2026, further strengthening its position in India's electric mobility ecosystem. The strong demand was particularly driven by electric buses across State Transport Undertakings and public transportation networks, reflecting growing adoption of clean mobility solutions.
Olectra Greentech continues to strengthen its position as India's largest manufacturer of pure electric buses and electric tippers, with an order book exceeding 8,500 vehicles. The company has clocked more than 740 million green kilometres nationwide and maintains its position as a pioneer in India's electric mobility ecosystem. As per Managing Director Mahesh Babu, the company successfully navigated challenges including global forex volatility and supply chain issues during the quarter, while focusing on execution, strengthening manufacturing capabilities, and delivering reliable electric mobility solutions for customers.
