
Snowman Logistics delivered impressive financial results for Q1 FY27, with standalone net profit surging 78.74% year-on-year to ₹4.54 crore compared to ₹2.54 crore in Q1 FY26. According to latest reports from Business Standard, revenue from operations rose 78.74% YoY to ₹117.67 crore in Q1 FY27, compared with ₹162.69 crore in the year-ago quarter. The company also recorded an exceptional loss of ₹1.62 crore during the quarter, stemming from the reversal of a provision related to the implementation of new Labour Codes after revising employee compensation structures.
The company demonstrated enhanced operational performance with EBITDA increasing 16.8% year-on-year to ₹29.3 crore from ₹25.1 crore in Q1 FY26. As reported by Business Standard, EBITDA margin improved to 16.4% in Q1 FY27 as against 15.3% in Q1 FY26, reflecting improved operating efficiency. Profit before tax (PBT) rose 37.30% year-on-year to ₹5.41 crore in the quarter from ₹3.94 crore in the corresponding period last year. The company's total expenses increased 8.44% YoY to ₹172.96 crore, with purchases of traded goods rising 8.06% YoY to ₹68.07 crore, employee benefit expenses climbing 13.19% YoY to ₹12.01 crore, and finance costs increasing 15.63% YoY to ₹6.51 crore.
According to Business Standard, warehousing services recorded robust 12.6% YoY growth with revenue of ₹71 crore in Q1 FY27, making it the largest contributor. The transportation services segment grew 8.7% to ₹36 crore, while the trading and distribution segment expanded 6.2% to ₹71 crore. Notably, transportation services posted a sharp turnaround in profitability, with segment profit rising to ₹2.18 crore from ₹0.17 crore a year ago. The company's total segment revenue increased 9.2% YoY to ₹178 crore during the quarter, with the warehousing services segment continuing to lead performance.
Snowman Logistics shares gained 4.23% to ₹41.12 following the strong quarterly results announcement, with the stock showing positive momentum across multiple timeframes.
