Swan Defence and Heavy Industries Limited has secured a significant defence export contract from the Government of Sultanate of Oman to supply a state-of-the-art training ship for the Royal Navy of Oman. The training ship measures 104.25 meters in length with a beam of 13.88 meters and displacement of up to 3,500 tonnes. As reported by The Hindu BusinessLine, the vessel will be equipped with classrooms, training offices, and an auditorium capable of accommodating up to 70 officer cadets. The ship will feature modern navigation systems, advanced communications suite, and helicopter operation capabilities, demonstrating advanced technical specifications for naval training operations.
