Samsung India Electronics experienced a significant 36% decline in profit to ₹7,228.10 crore for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, according to a Registrar of Companies filing. Despite this profit decline, the company managed to achieve revenue from operations growth of 1.2% to ₹1.12 lakh crore during the same period. As reported by Business Standard, this performance reflects the challenging market conditions faced by the consumer electronics major in the Indian market. The company's total consolidated income, which includes other income, was ₹1,14,738.60 crore in FY26, compared to revenue from operations of ₹1,11,183.40 crore on a consolidated basis for FY25, with profit standing at ₹11,287.50 crore during that period. The sharp decline in profit highlights a divergence between the company's sales performance in India and its bottom line, with total expenses increasing 3.54% to ₹1.04 lakh crore during the year.
The company's mobile phone business, which continues to be its major contributor to topline revenue, experienced challenges with revenue from HHP (Hand Held Phones), including mobile phones and accessories, falling 1.35% to ₹81,472.2 crore in FY26 from ₹82,595 crore in FY25.
