
Shares of Sai Silks (Kalamandir) Ltd. declined 5% on Thursday, April 2, following the company's provisional fourth quarter results. According to reports from CNBC TV18, the stock has now slipped below the ₹100 mark and is down nearly 57% from its issue price of ₹222 per share. The stock had listed on stock exchanges in September 2025 at a 4% premium to its issue price.
The company's revenue increased 5% to ₹419 crore in the fourth quarter from the previous year's ₹399 crore. As reported by CNBC TV18, this growth rate was significantly lower than the company's guidance of 15% growth. For the full financial year 2026, turnover increased 13% to ₹1,653 crore from ₹1,462 crore in the previous year, also missing the company's 15% guidance.
Despite revenue challenges, Sai Silks expanded its retail footprint by launching 13 new stores in financial year 2026, bringing its total store network to 81 stores. According to CNBC TV18, the stock had declined 5.1% on Wednesday to hit an intraday low of ₹96.13 per share and was trading down 4% at ₹97.3 at 2:20 pm on Thursday. The stock has declined 36.6% so far this year.
