Ritesh International has announced a strategic expansion plan to add 50% capacity at its existing facility in Ahmedgarh. According to reports from Business Standard, this expansion represents a significant growth initiative for the company's manufacturing capabilities at this location, aimed at addressing rising demand for stearic acid, fatty acid, and glycerin products. The company's Board of Directors has officially approved this major capacity expansion, which is a direct response to the rising customer demand across its core markets.
The expansion project involves an estimated total capital expenditure of ₹7 crore, with the funding structure revealing a strong reliance on internal resources. As reported by Business Standard, the financing strategy includes approximately ₹1 crore from long-term bank loans and the remaining ₹6 crore from internal accruals. This balanced approach ensures both external debt financing and internal cash generation contribute to the project funding, with internal accruals accounting for approximately 86% of the total investment, indicating the company's strong cash generation capabilities. The company anticipates that this strategic investment will allow it to better serve its key domestic clients with high-quality products and sustain revenue growth.
The expansion will significantly increase daily production capability from 80 metric tons to 120 metric tons, representing a 50% increase in manufacturing capacity. According to Business Standard, commercial production is targeted to commence in Q1 FY27-28, providing the company with enhanced manufacturing capacity to meet growing market demand. Ritesh Arora, Chairman and Managing Director, stated that existing facilities are operating near peak capacity utilization, making this expansion crucial for strengthening market share and enhancing operating margins.
The expansion aims to capitalize on high utilization rates and growing demand for stearic acid and related products across core markets. As reported by Business Standard, the company emphasized that leveraging debt financing alongside internal accruals allows it to maintain a healthy balance sheet while positioning for sustained revenue growth. The project is scheduled for completion within approximately 8 months, positioning Ritesh International to better serve surging customer demand across its core product segments. The expansion is specifically designed to strengthen the company's market share and enhance operating margins while meeting the growing demand for its key products.
