As reported by the company in an exchange filing dated April 7, 2026, the project involves 36.46 acres of land with a total premium of ₹36,89,77,192, translating to ₹2,501 per square metre. The land will be allotted on a 90-year leasehold basis with lease rent to be revised every 30 years, specifically for development of Solar Cell Manufacturing / Processing and allied Industry at Layer-II, Nava Raipur Atal Nagar, Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
The solar manufacturing project is being executed in partnership with Samvik Power Private Limited, as reported by the company in its exchange filing. This strategic partnership expands RDB Infrastructure and Power Ltd's presence in the solar manufacturing sector, complementing the company's existing operations across packaging, power and telecom transmission equipment, retail, logistics and real estate segments.
The rally in RDB Infrastructure shares coincided with a broader market surge, with the Sensex jumping 2,988.82 points or 4% to 77,605.40 and the NSE Nifty surging 890.35 points or 3.85% to 24,014 during afternoon trade.
