
Wipro reported a consolidated net profit of ₹3,502 crore for Q4 FY26, representing a 1.9% decline from ₹3,569.6 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. However, the company showed sequential improvement with quarter-on-quarter growth of 12% from Q3 FY26. Revenue from operations increased 7.7% year-on-year to ₹24,236.3 crore in Q4 FY26, compared to ₹22,504.2 crore in Q4 FY25. Profit before tax (PBT) stood at ₹4,667.6 crore, up 12.9% quarter-on-quarter but down 1.6% year-on-year. In dollar terms, gross revenue for Q4 FY26 was $2,583 million, registering a decline of 1.5% QoQ and 1.9% YoY.
The IT services segment revenue was ₹26,510 million in Q4 FY26, showing growth of 0.6% quarter-on-quarter and 2.1% year-on-year. IT services operating margin for Q4 FY26 was 17.3%, compared to 17.6% in Q3 FY26 and 17.5% in Q4 FY25. Total bookings stood at $3,455 million in Q4 FY26, up 3.6% QoQ but down 12.6% YoY. Large deal bookings for Q4 FY26 were $1,440 million compared to $871 million in Q3 FY26 and $1,763 million in Q4 FY25. The company's closing employee count was 242,156 at the end of Q4 FY26, with voluntary attrition at 13.8% on a trailing 12-month basis.
For the full financial year ended March 2026, Wipro recorded net profit of ₹13,265.5 crore, up 0.4% from ₹13,135.4 crore in FY25. Revenue from operations increased 4% YoY to ₹92,624 crore in FY26, compared to ₹89,088.4 crore in the previous financial year. Operating profit margin (OPM) for the full year stood at 20.23%, compared to 20.55% in FY25. The company's profit before tax (PBT) for FY26 was ₹17,342.2 crore, down from ₹17,495.7 crore in FY25. Profit before depreciation and tax (PBDT) for FY26 was ₹20,252.9 crore, compared to ₹20,453.6 crore in the previous year.
Wipro's board has approved a buyback proposal for purchase of up to 60 crore equity shares, representing 5.7% of total paid-up equity share capital from shareholders. The shares would be bought back on a proportionate basis by way of a tender offer at a price of ₹250 per equity share for an aggregate amount not exceeding ₹15,000 crore. The buyback price represents a premium of 19.2% compared with the scrip's closing price of ₹209.80 recorded on April 16, 2026. This follows the company's earlier buyback in 2020-21 for ₹95,000 crore at ₹400 per share.
CEO Srini Pallia highlighted that advancements in AI are reshaping client priorities and creating new opportunities for deeper partnerships. The company is pivoting to a services-as-a-software model through the AI Native Business & Platforms unit to strengthen its position in an AI-first world. For FY27, Wipro expects revenue from IT Services business segment to be in the range of ₹25,970-26,510 million, translating to sequential guidance of -2.0% to 0% in constant currency terms. The company has also completed strategic acquisitions including IVIA in Brazil, 4C in Europe, and ETT in the Middle East, with total consideration of ₹7,853 crore for specialized IT services providers.
