According to reports from Business Standard, Provigil Surveillance, a wholly owned subsidiary of Magellanic Cloud, has received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from South Central Railway, Vijayawada Division for a contract aggregating to ₹6.25 crore. The contract involves the provision of advanced surveillance systems at multiple railway stations for the upcoming Godavari Pushkaram-2027 event.
As reported by Business Standard, the project encompasses the provision of advanced surveillance systems at KVR, GVN, and Rajahmundry (RJY) railway stations for Godavari Pushkaram-2027. Additionally, the scope includes the replacement and augmentation of Video Surveillance Systems (VSS) at multiple railway stations and the installation of video recording systems in Relay Rooms and Station Master Rooms across the Vijayawada Division.
According to the contract details reported by Business Standard, the scope of work includes the deployment of IP-based CCTV surveillance systems, Network Video Recorders (NVRs) and other associated Signalling & Telecommunication (S&T) infrastructure. The project covers the supply, installation, testing, commissioning and integration of comprehensive IP-based video surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras, network video recorders (NVRs), networking infrastructure, optical fibre connectivity, UPS systems, earthing, surge protection, system integration, and other associated signalling and telecommunication infrastructure. The project is scheduled to be completed within nine months.
As reported by Business Standard, this contract represents a significant win for Provigil Surveillance in the railway infrastructure segment. The company has clarified that the contract is not a related-party transaction and that neither its promoters nor promoter group entities have any interest in the deal.
