
Power & Instrumentation (Gujarat) Limited has secured an additional work order worth ₹3.72 crore from Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS). According to latest reports from Business Standard, this new contract is related to the existing order previously received from the same client for distribution infrastructure development work. The latest contract includes taxes, bringing the total value to ₹38.28 crore. The order, awarded by a domestic entity, is scheduled to be completed within 15 months.
The additional work order involves the supply, erection, installation, testing and commissioning of material and equipment for development of distribution infrastructure work. As reported by Business Standard, the project specifically focuses on segregation of 11 KV mixed feeders at Salumbar Circle of Ajmer Discom in Rajasthan state under the RDSS scheme on a turnkey basis. The project is being executed against AVVNL/RDSS-FS/SLB/TN-165 contract number.
Power & Instrumentation (Gujarat) has clarified that neither its promoters nor promoter group entities have any interest in the awarding authority. The company also stated that the contract does not fall under related-party transactions. The company engages in the business of Electrical Contract Work and dealing in electrical equipment, positioning it well for infrastructure development projects.
