
PC Jeweller shares are likely to remain in focus on Friday after the company reported a more than 61% rise in consolidated net profit for the March quarter of FY25. According to reports from Moneycontrol, the company posted a consolidated net profit of ₹152.89 crore in the quarter ended March 2025, compared with ₹94.78 crore in the year-ago period. Revenue from operations showed robust growth, rising 33% year-on-year to ₹927.34 crore from ₹699 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal. As per Business Standard, total income grew to ₹946.26 crore during January-March FY26 from ₹700.10 crore a year ago, demonstrating strong operational performance across the quarter.
The company's full-year FY26 performance showed significant improvement with net profit increasing to ₹714.46 crore from ₹577.70 crore in the preceding year. According to Business Standard, total income rose to ₹3,549.58 crore from ₹2,371.87 crore during FY26, reflecting the company's strong execution capabilities and sustained consumer demand throughout the year. MD Balram Garg highlighted that FY26 was an important year as the company regained its momentum and delivered strong performance, marking meaningful progress in the company's ongoing turnaround journey.
PC Jeweller has made significant progress in strengthening its financial position, with outstanding debt reduced by more than 90% since the execution of the Settlement Agreement with banks. As reported by Business Standard, MD Balram Garg stated that the company has made steady progress towards achieving its objective of becoming debt-free and expressed confidence of achieving a debt-free balance sheet very soon. Following this milestone, the company plans to enter an aggressive expansion mode, with plans to open up to 100 large franchise showrooms during the next 12-18 months. The company currently operates around 50 stores across major cities and has been receiving positive responses from prospective business partners for establishing large-format franchisee showrooms.
During the quarter, PC Jeweller entered into a memorandum of understanding with the National Skill Development Corporation under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship to serve as an industry/franchise partner for the gems and jewellery sector. According to an exchange filing reported by Moneycontrol, the company plans to support the development and onboarding of up to 2 lakh micro-entrepreneurs across the country over five years under the PC Jeweller brand. The initiative aims to expand retail presence while contributing to employment generation and local economic growth through a nationwide entrepreneur network.
