
PB Fintech, the parent company of PolicyBazaar, reported its net profit for the quarter surged 54 per cent year-on-year to ₹261 crore from ₹169 crore in the year-ago period. According to reports from ET Now, the company also demonstrated strong sequential growth with net profit increasing 37.9 per cent from ₹189 crore in the previous quarter. The company's revenue from operations stood at ₹2,061 crore in Q4 FY26, representing a growth of 36 per cent year-on-year and 16.4 per cent quarter-on-quarter from ₹1,507.8 crore in the year-ago period and ₹1,771 crore in Q3 FY26. As reported by ET Now, the increase in revenue was primarily driven by a surge in new insurance premium collection, indicating strong business momentum and market demand for the company's services.
EBITDA for the quarter reached ₹532 crore compared to ₹463 crore in Q3 FY26, marking a 15 per cent quarter-on-quarter increase. However, EBITDA margin compressed slightly to 25.8 per cent in Q4 FY26 from 26.1 per cent in the previous quarter, representing a decline of 31 basis points. According to ET Now, these financial metrics demonstrate the company's ability to maintain profitability while investing in growth initiatives.
Shares of PB Fintech ended at ₹1,703.05, up ₹23.30 or 1.39 per cent from the previous closing of ₹1,679.75 on the BSE, as reported by ET Now.
