Pace Digitek Limited has secured a significant contract from BSES Rajdhani Power Limited for a 57.5 MW/115 MWh standalone battery energy storage system (BESS) in Delhi. According to a regulatory filing dated October 8, 2026, the project carries a total project cost of around ₹179.4 crore and will be developed under a 12-year Build, Own, Operate and Transfer (BOOT) model. The project is expected to be completed within seven months of contract signing. Pace Digitek shares rallied 6% following the announcement, with the stock trading 1.87% higher at ₹164.88 per equity share as of 11:31 AM on October 9, 2026. The company's total market capitalisation stands at ₹3,561.76 crore as of October 9, 2026, according to NSE data.
Under the long-term Battery Energy Storage Service Agreement (BESSA), Pace Digitek will receive a fixed capacity tariff of ₹47.05 lakh per MW per year, translating into annual contracted revenue of ₹27.1 crore. As reported in the regulatory filing, this project will take Pace Digitek's utility-scale BOO/BOOT storage portfolio to 3.32 GWh, marking it as the company's fifth major utility-scale BOO/BOOT storage project. With the order win, Pace Digitek's total executable order book exceeds ₹11,500 crore. The project represents a significant addition to the company's energy portfolio and strengthens its position in the growing battery energy storage sector.
The BSES order follows Pace Digitek's ₹488.6 crore order from NTPC GE Power Services Private Limited in September for the supply of standalone BESS, along with annual maintenance contract (AMC) and warranty services. According to the regulatory filing, since the end of the first quarter of FY27, the Pace Digitek Group has secured ₹761 crore of additional orders across products and projects. The company's energy order book includes BOO, EPC and supply projects, with utility-scale BESS becoming an increasingly important part of its business. The latest BSES award adds to Pace Digitek's growing portfolio of contracted energy infrastructure assets.
Pace Digitek shares have gained 3% over the month but have lost more than 1% in the past week, as reported by the latest market data. On a year-to-date basis, the stock has fallen 12%. The shares hit a 52-week high of ₹231.95 per unit on October 10, 2025, while touching a year's low of ₹139.81 apiece on March 30, 2026. According to Venugopalrao Maddisetty, Chairman and Managing Director of Pace Digitek Limited, these recent wins demonstrate the breadth of the company's participation across the BESS value chain, from supplying storage systems and providing lifecycle services to developing and operating long-term contracted storage assets.
