Om Power Transmission has secured a significant contract from Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation (GETCO) worth ₹24.03 crore. According to reports from Business Standard, the company received a Letter of Intent (LoI) for the power transmission project. The contract involves the supply, laying, erection, testing and commissioning of 66 kV underground cables covering an approximate route length of 5.17 km. As reported by Business Standard, the contract value is specified at ₹24,02,67,567.20, inclusive of GST, with the order further strengthening Om Power Transmission's project portfolio in the power transmission infrastructure segment, particularly in underground cable systems.
As reported by Business Standard, the project is scheduled to be executed within 12 months from the date of commencement. The company emphasized that the contract does not constitute a related-party transaction and that neither its promoters nor members of the promoter group have any interest in the award of the order. Om Power Transmission operates as an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company focused on power transmission infrastructure, with the company expected to undertake the project from supply through commissioning, covering the full execution cycle of the 66 kV underground cable installation.
According to Business Standard, the company reported robust financial results for Q4 FY26. Om Power Transmission achieved a 36.48% year-on-year increase in standalone net profit to ₹16.65 crore in Q4 FY26 from ₹12.20 crore in Q4 FY25. Revenue from operations demonstrated strong growth with a 67.20% YoY increase to ₹174.62 crore from ₹104.44 crore during the same period.
As reported by Business Standard, the stock counter shed 0.03% to ₹170.05 on the BSE following the announcement. The minimal market movement suggests investor confidence in the company's ability to execute the new contract while maintaining its strong financial performance trajectory.
