
NCC Ltd. delivered robust June-quarter results with consolidated net profit rising 12.6% year-on-year to ₹216.4 crore compared to ₹190 crore in the previous financial year. The infrastructure company demonstrated strong operational performance with revenue increasing 12.2% to ₹5,812 crore from ₹4,378 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. According to the latest financial results announced via exchange filing, EBITDA climbed 19.5% to ₹545 crore compared to ₹394 crore in the preceding financial year, while operating margin expanded to 9.38% from 8.81% a year earlier. Earnings per share improved to ₹3.45, up from ₹3.06 in the year-ago period. Including other income, consolidated turnover stood at ₹5,842.5 crore, compared with ₹5,207.9 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
The company maintained strong order momentum during the quarter, securing fresh orders worth ₹3,882 crore, including changes in project scope. As reported in the latest financial results, NCC's consolidated order book stood at ₹81,214 crore as of June 30, providing healthy revenue visibility for the coming years. This robust order pipeline underlines sustained demand for the company's engineering and construction services across its diversified project portfolio, with the company continuing to build its order pipeline during the quarter.
The June-quarter performance builds on a healthy flow of project wins in recent weeks. According to CNBC TV18, last week the company announced securing three orders worth ₹1,052.7 crore, excluding GST, across its Buildings and Water divisions. ₹590.4 crore came from the Buildings business, while ₹462.3 crore was awarded in the Water segment. Earlier, NCC had also bagged a ₹2,090.5 crore contract from the Bihar government for the construction of the Barner Reservoir Scheme, strengthening its presence in the country's water infrastructure segment.
NCC shares closed at ₹143.75 in the previous trading session, up ₹0.15 or 0.10%, reflecting positive market sentiment following the earnings announcement. The stock has shown strong performance with a 52-week high of ₹225.90 and a 52-week low of ₹130.20, currently trading 36.37% below its 52-week high and 10.41% above its 52-week low. The company's market capitalisation stands at ₹9,025.29 crore, with the recent trading activity indicating investor confidence in the company's operational performance and future growth prospects.
