
NBCC (India) Ltd. has successfully concluded the e-auction of commercial built-up space at Bharat Business Park, Sarojini Nagar, New Delhi, securing a total sale value of approximately ₹5,779 crore. According to the latest regulatory filing submitted to the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE), the auction involved around 14 lakh square feet of commercial space. The company will receive a marketing fee of 1% of the sale value from this transaction, as detailed on NBCC's official website.
The proposed acquisition carries a total estimated investment of ₹1,374.45 crore, including duties and taxes, as reported by CNBC TV18. The payment structure will be implemented in stages, directly linked to the progress of construction work and subject to the terms of the e-auction agreement. The company plans to utilize the commercial tower for self-use, leasing and investment purposes, providing multiple revenue streams for the property.
Earlier this week, NBCC strengthened its collaboration capabilities through strategic partnerships with Housing and Urban Development Corporation Ltd. (HUDCO). According to CNBC TV18, the companies signed two memoranda of understanding (MoUs) to collaborate on redevelopment and funding projects. The partnership will focus on the redevelopment of August Kranti Bhawan in Bhikaji Cama Place, New Delhi, spanning approximately 18,830 square metres.
Following the announcement, NBCC shares demonstrated positive market sentiment, trading 0.53% higher at ₹93.54 as of 12:40 pm, as reported by CNBC TV18. The stock has shown mixed performance with a 12.5% gain over the past month but has experienced a 23% decline year-to-date. The market response reflects investor confidence in the company's strategic expansion through property acquisitions and partnerships.
